Reflection 1 The Role of Technology and Media in Education
EDET Blog and Reflection It was our first official technology class. I reached when the fully energized lecturer Mrs. Robert's was asking students to identify themselves. We then began on our first topic The Role of Technology and Media in Education. A video was shown on technology and media then and now. It was amazing to see the things of the past and what is used presently. During this session I learnt that technology can enhance learning and makes it quite interesting. The class was introduced to the six categories of media. Video,People,Audio,Images (visual ), Written (text), Manipulatives (tactile). Each classmates was given a form of media and was asked to explain how it is used and in what era.
